Yifat Mor-Salwo is a PhD candidate and research assistant in the School of Social Work and Social welfare at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Research interests: Child and Youth care, Transition from care to independent living, Care and higher education.
Yifat earned a B.A. and M.A. in Social Work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Her Ph.D. work is focusing on care leavers and their integration in higher education.
Before working on the project "Higher education without family support" Yifat worked as a social worker at "Bney Brit"- Residential treatment center in Jerusalem. Her work at the center included: working with children at risk and their parents, being a member in the leading therapeutic team, and counseling the staff care takers and pedagogic team.
